TITLE: Return of extrinsic method invocation fails when method's return is of type char

DESCRIPTION:
This patch tests the type of the CmpiData object received and pass along the
correct data to the next function called within CmpiResult::returnData.

This test was done inspired on what id currently done inside the function void
CmpiInstance::setProperty
