a couple of files that had to be fixed because they had violated
the comments rules (ex. blank line at head of file or in the case of
xmlwriter.cpp a comment line //=========  which drove the strip
function nuts.  These were fixed.  This has been compiled and tested
on windows.

TITLE: Changed declaration of types to allow building on Solaris and HP-UX.

DESCRIPTION: Made the internal structure a friend of the parent class so it can access the parent class's types.  This is a problem with the Solaris and HP-UX compilers, but not other compilers.

TITLE: Problem with AutoPtr and no destructor.

DESCRIPTION: Fixed the problem here by moving the type declarations from the source file into the header file and removing the forward declaration.   The type declarations are private to the class so there is no namespace pollution.  With the types fully declared they now have destructors and the warning is no longer issued.

TITLE: [HP-RK] Out-of-Process Provider Support

DESCRIPTION: Updated the ConfigManager so that it can be used in a Provider Agent process (for Out-of-Process Providers).  The ConfigManager now has a flag that controls whether it reads to and writes from persistent configuration files (for the cimserver process) or it just operates in memory (for Provider Agent processes and other uses).

HP-Nag: Modified CIM Server and Client API to lookup port number from services. CIM Server uses default port number (5988 for HTTP or 5989 for HTTPS) if no port number is configured and no port is specified in the configuration file. CIMClient's connectLocal() method is modified to try and connect to HTTP port, if failed then try and connect to HTTPS port.

HP-RK Added two new configuration properties to support alternate behavior of the Pegasus repository: repositoryIsDefaultInstanceProvider and repositoryProviderName.

HP-NB Implemented Authentication code on the server to challenge requests, authenticate the challenge responses, and verify the subsequent authorized requests. Implemented authentication mechanism in the Client API to send responses to the challenges from the server. Current implementation supports only 'local' authentication mechanism. Authentication can be enabled by setting the config property 'requireAuthentication' to true.

HP-NB Modified Config framework to remove dependency on the config files at the start of the cimserver. Now the cimserver will use in-memory default values in the absence of config files and command line options. Fixed a few defects in the config framework that were causing cimom to crash under certain conditions. Changed the config provider class name to 'PG_ConfigSetting' in the mof file and modified provider implementation files accordingly. Also modified the config CLI to show user friendly error/status messages.
