16 command creates an archive copy of the CIM Server
17 repository in the specified \fParchive_file. The archive copy is assured to
18 contain a consistent repository state even if it is created while the
19 CIM Server is running.

21 The \fParchive_file is created using the tar(1) command. To restore the
22 kumpf 1.1 repository from the \fParchive_file, stop the cimserver, move the active
23 repository files to a different location, use tar(2) to extract the
24 archived repository files, and restart the cimserver. (Note that the
25 repository location is printed when an archive file is created.)
